2nd Birthday Celebrations!

This year for Sienna and Greyson's Birthdays we decided it keep it simple and just do a small family party, but because we have family all over, these lucky cuties ended up having two parties (and two piƱatas!)My mom hosted the one in cincinnati and the kids had a blast playing out back! Back here in Illinois, Rhett's parents hosted a party and Lucy and Jan party planned together, and Aunt Brea made the amazing tiered cake! They had a really good time at both and it is so fun to see the curious, happy, fun-loving, and ENERGETIC children they have become. Watching them grow has been a true blessing and we can't wait to see what the next year has in store for these amazing little miracles.

Making Up For Lost Time

The crazy thing about time is that sometimes when you're living it, like completely in the the moment of it. You don't notice it flying by, it creeping by, flipping through days, that become months, that become years, until suddenly you turn around and two cute, smiling, giggling plotting toddlers are standing in front of you. It's not that you didn't know time was passing, you just didn't realize how incredibly fast until BOOM.. there it is, your babies aren't babies anymore and you stand there scratching your head... when did this happen?!?

But happen.. it did. In less than a month, Sienna and Greyson will be 2. TWO! I still can't wrap my head around it really. It is nuts. What is equally as baffling is that is has been over a year since I have blogged. So as per the title of this blog, I am going to try to recap since I last wrote what has been going on with these awesome, wild, funny, energetic, heart warming, little miracles. Words can express a lot, but pictures kind of say it best. So I am going to post a few of our favorites.Mind you there only carry us through their first year of their life, but I'll make it a goal to get caught up in the next month before I get another year behind! Until then I am going to try not to blink or two 3 year olds will be standing before me.
