Grammy, Rhett, Greyson, Sienna, and I all stayed at the embassy suites downtown to be close to my doctor and Rhett's work. The kids enjoyed playing in the hotel and visiting the "manager's reception" for snacks. We returned home a day later only to get the flu!! Never a dull moment! Baby will be here so soon!

So this is the week baby is due! We decided not to find out the gender so we keep going back and forth on what we think baby might be! This week so far as been a little nutty! On Tuesday of this week we discovered a gas leak and had to go stay in a hotel while it was fixed! The twins got to meet some of Shorewood's Finest; the police and firefighters! I had to go in for a non-stress test and got to just sit and listen to baby's heartbeat which was awesome :). Baby looked fine but having been exposed to gas fumes they wanted to ensure everything was ok!

Time has just been flying by and it's been so nice having Rhett's mom here helping out! We've all been having fun! My mom came for a visit too! We've been busting out the baby stuff from the basement and cleaning clothes in preparation for baby's arrival! We are getting so excited! I'm also nervous to leave the twins for a few nights while in the hospital as I've never been away from them for more than a night but I know they'll be in good hands!
So 2016 was off to a great start. We came back from Ohio and got unpacked, played in the snow, played with our new toys, and generally just got acclimated after our week long stay in Ohio over the holidays.
A few weeks after being home, I was due to go in for my 34 week appt. I had been feeling some pressure already so asked Rhett to take me. Turns out I was already dilated and baby's head was super low! Having had the twins so early, this caused us to be quite concerned. We knew that keeping me off my feet as much as possible would keep baby in longer but this is easier said than done with two, two year olds! Then Grammy (Rhett's mom) came to the rescue and flew from Arizona and is going to stay til baby comes. She's been amazing cooking, cleaning, and taking care of Rhett, the twins, and myself! We are so lucky to have her here!

December was filled with so many fun activities! We decorated the house, saw Santa (disaster, ha) and went to Ohio for Christmas which is always so much fun. Sienna and Greyson got lots of toys they loved and we made many memories we'll always cherish as our last Christmas as a family of 4! Every Christmas Eve my mom and I go to Palominos and a little shopping after. We've been doing this since I was young and now it's 3 of us! Rhett and Greyson went to chuck e cheese for some guy time :). Looking forward to seeing what 2016 has in store!
